ShopFast Privacy Policy

ShopFast ("the App") provides automated same-day local delivery dispatching ("the Service") to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Shop API: Store name, primary domain, email address, timezone, currency, and location/address data.
• Orders API: Order details including order number, line items, totals, fulfillment status, customer shipping information, and delivery notes.
• Fulfillment API: Fulfillment status and tracking information associated with orders.
• Locations API: Your store's physical locations used as pickup addresses for courier dispatch.

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

• Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information. Payment transactions for "Courier Credits" are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your credit card details — we only store a Stripe Customer ID to manage your credit balance.
• Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device.
• Information about your customers from Shopify Orders, including customer name, shipping address, phone number, products purchased, order total, and delivery notes — collected to fulfill same-day delivery requests.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:

• "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
• "Log files" track actions occurring on our service, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
• "Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you interact with the App.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to:

• Provide the Service: To dispatch third-party couriers (e.g., Uber Direct) to your store for order pickup and delivery, and to provide live tracking links to your customers.
• Communicate with you: To send delivery status updates, service announcements, and respond to support inquiries.
• Optimize or improve the App: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the App's performance and reliability.
• Billing: To calculate delivery fees and deduct credits from your wallet balance.

We do not use your personal information for behavioral or targeted advertising.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your personal information with the following third-party service providers to help us provide the Service:

• Delivery Providers (Uber Direct): We share the end-customer's name, phone number, and delivery address with these providers solely to facilitate the physical delivery of goods.
• Stripe: We share merchant billing information with Stripe to process courier credit purchases. Stripe's privacy policy can be found at stripe.com/privacy.
• Google Maps API: We may use Google's location services to calculate distances and validate addresses. Google's privacy policy can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data or your customers' data to outside parties for marketing purposes.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you use our delivery dispatching service), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regarding your personal information, including the right to know what data we collect and the right to request deletion. Please contact us for more details.

Data Retention

When you use the Service, we will maintain your order and delivery records for our records for as long as necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes (e.g., proof of delivery), and comply with legal obligations — unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We comply with Shopify's mandatory webhooks (customers/redact, customers/data_request, shop/redact) to automatically delete or provide personal data when requested by the merchant or Shopify.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: Data transmitted between your store, our servers, and third-party APIs is encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols.
• Access Control: Only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
